~~~~May take a moment to load, so please be patient I KNOW there are problems with this This was a NIGHTMARE (haha get it?) to render.
This is part of my project to model as many pokemon as possible and animate them too.
1st attempt took 9 hours for GI to be calculated and i thought that was wayyyy too long.. so i stopped it. after a few test renders, i decided that no matter how long it would take, that was the only acceptable settings to have it on.
So i let it render... at 3am my mum woke me up to tell me my laptop screen was on... my computer decided to update itself and restart so i lost around 4 hours of rendering time.
Did it again, and it took 40 hours to calculate GI (full animation mode coz i didn't want flickering) and then 11 hours to render the 301 frames.
I HAVE NO IDEA why the brown patches are appearing on the skin IF you can tell me a way around this, i will love you forever and ever
I tried baking the GI, it does work, but the texture looks all broken up coz its placed on the low poly model which still remains in hyper nurbs.. but i think i've got an idea.
UGHGHGHGHGHGHGH this was horrible to do! i learnt a lot about animating though and rigging. in fact, i plan to re-rig this coz i learned stuff after i finished it, it doesn't work quite right.
Wow!! great job! This reminds me of in Pokemon Stadium, you can go and take pictures of the pokemon. they just stand in the arena and do a couple poses while you rotate around them lol.
i LOVED pokemon stadium, i hope pokemon battle revolution 2 is as fun as the stadium games, first battle revolution was a real let down. the graphics suck too, sharpedo looks aweful!
I think it was Pokemon stadium 1, as soon as you hit the title screen there should be a little menu for it. I hope they come out with a super-legit stadium, every pokemon, maybe you can choose which attacks your pokemon can have, killer graphics..!
