2nd attempt at 3D art, this time i wanted to do a dissassembly of a pokeball.
I realise that it kinda sucks, but i still learned quite a bit.
later on in the year i will do an awesome pokeball dissassembly

Software: Cinema 4D
Render time: 6mins 23s

i spent wayyy too long on this.

Everyone starts somewhere. Do get discouraged, getting good at 3D - like most things - just takes time.

If I can give one piece of advice, read the technical documentation/help files. They are often overlooked for the quick and easy tutorial, when they usually contain piles of helpful info!

i've been working on a piece for about a week now and its 90% complete

i have learned a lot in that time through the sheer amount of time i have spent with it.

but yes, i never thought to look at those files
