I decided to make a low poly pokeball to see if i could unwrap a sphere and texture it myself.
i desperately tried to make a shadow apepar on the invisible floor, it would have been easy if i wasn't animating this, but after spending.. god knows, 3 horus or more experimenting with stuff, i couldn't get a shadow to look right.
Cinema 4D For some stupid reason, DA won't except .gif files in their Digital > 3D category >
Whats the little white/light pinkish line above the black middle?
Anyways, I like the specular spots. Though I find low poly to work better with no specular, simply because in-game it looks odd staying in the same place. Thats more personal preference though, because even the 3d pokeballs they had in hg/ss had specular, so I'm in no place to judge haha.
